  • 1 lb large shrimp peeled and deveined (tail-on)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder

For the Butter Basting Sauce:

  • 4 tbsp butter melted
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Optional Garnishes & Serving:

  • Lemon wedges
  • Chopped fresh parsley
  • Extra melted butter for dipping

Instructions
 

Prepare the Shrimp:

  • Peel and devein shrimp, leaving the tails on for presentation.
  • Rinse under cold water and pat dry.

Make the Marinade:

  • In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, melted butter, lemon juice, honey, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, and spices.
  • Add shrimp and toss to coat evenly. Cover and marinate in the fridge for 30 minutes.

Preheat the Grill:

  • Heat the grill to medium-high (400°F/200°C).
  • Lightly oil the grill grates to prevent sticking.

Skewer the Shrimp:

  • Thread shrimp onto skewers, keeping them snug but not overcrowded.
  • If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes before use.

Grill the Shrimp:

  • Place skewers on the grill and cook for 2–3 minutes per side, flipping once.
  • While grilling, baste with butter basting sauce to keep shrimp juicy.
  • Remove when shrimp turn pink and opaque.

Serve and Enjoy:

  • Transfer to a plate, garnish with fresh parsley and lemon wedges.
