Ingredients
  

For the Dough:

  • 3 ½ cups 440g all-purpose flour
  • 2 ¼ teaspoons 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 cup 240ml warm milk (105°F–110°F)
  • ¼ cup 50g granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 large egg
  • 4 tablespoons 56g unsalted butter, softened

For the Garlic Butter Glaze:

  • 4 tablespoons 56g unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley finely chopped
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions
 

Step 1: Activate the Yeast

  • Warm the milk to 105°F–110°F (40°C–43°C) and mix it with sugar and yeast.
  • Let it sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.

Step 2: Prepare the Dough

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, and softened butter.
  • Add the activated yeast mixture and egg.
  • Knead for 8–10 minutes until the dough is smooth and elastic.

Step 3: First Rise

  • Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1–1.5 hours, or until doubled in size.

Step 4: Shape the Rolls

  • Punch down the dough and divide it into 12 equal portions.
  • Roll each piece into a smooth ball and place them in a greased baking pan.

Step 5: Second Rise

  • Cover the rolls with a kitchen towel and let them rise for 30–45 minutes.

Step 6: Bake

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until golden brown.

Step 7: Prepare the Garlic Butter Glaze

  • Melt the butter and mix in the minced garlic, parsley, and salt.
  • Brush the warm rolls generously with the garlic butter.
